Food insecurity is a pressing issue in Baltimore City and can be even more difficult for residents with medical conditions due to poor transportation resources and lack of affordable grocery options. Fortunately, there are community organizations across Baltimore City that help address these gaps by providing nutritious meals to eligible Baltimore City residents suffering with certain health conditions.
Moveable Feast is a community organization that aims to feed people, fortify health, and foster help. They accomplish this through two main programs: Home Delivered Meals and Medical Nutrition Therapy.
Moveable Feast also can help clients with medical transportation. You can find more information about this service here.

Additional Resources
Thanks for reading this article. If you are looking for more food resources in the Baltimore area, take a look at these other guides:
SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is a federally funded program that assists low-income individuals in purchasing good food to promote health. SNAP benefits are loaded onto a EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card, which works like a debit card. Benefits are loaded onto the EBT card monthly.
The City of Baltimore currently partners with 3 supermarkets to provide this promotion: Amazon, Safeway, and Giant. The premise of the promotion is that if you spend $5 dollars on SNAP eligible items, you can receive $30 in vouchers for fresh produce.
This is a reminder that Baltimore Benefits is not associated with Moveable Feast. This article was made to help people become aware of the resources that they could benefit from.
