Annual Baltimore Area Surveys show that food insecurity is on the decline; fortunately, food insecurity has dropped by 54% since two years ago. However, there is still a lot more work to do to ensure the health of Baltimore residents. But what is behind this decline?
One major factor is the Home Delivered Food Box Program from the Baltimore City Health Department. This program provides eligible residents with grocery boxes filled with non-perishable food, enough to last 1-2 weeks depending on household size. Once ordered, the groceries are delivered right to residents’ doorsteps within 3-4 days, making it easier for those in need to access meals and groceries.
During this article, we will help you access these very helpful resources. For more guides, check out the rest of bmorebenefits.com. If you look for more resources to tackle food insecurity, take a look at SNAP and B’more Fresh Program.

Signing up for the Home Delivered Boxes is a very simple process.
